After spending the last year living in a (self-inflicted) time ration zone, with ever spare moment alloted to the ongoing task of finishing Unauthored Letters, I finally now get to celebrate.
My house is clean, my body has found sleep, and I got to kick off my month of celebrations with a fun ski day witih my friend Dori.
Dori has been my writing buddy since high school, so it was a very fun time to get away from laptops, notepads, pens, and book thoughts to truly relax on the beauiful slopes.
It also made me extremely grateful for my incredible circle of friends. They are patient when I disappear to hang out with my fictional friends (who can be quite demanding and a bit two-dimensional at times). I also am continuously humbled by the tremendous support and encouragement my friends have given me through the years. Without that support, writing can turn into a very, very lonely experience. I truly have been blessed with many special and cherished friends.
And now its time to celebrate. . .
