An excerpt from Unauthored Letters:

"Grasping at one final straw, he stopped at the post office. The key slid into Box 222 and the knob turned. Then John sorted through the Stater Brothers ad, the power bill, a credit card statement, and an internet price plan postcard. Finally, there on the bottom, lay the business envelope with the plain type.

His heart raced. He took the mail into the comfort of his Jeep and stared at the envelope. This time there was no postmark, just a simple stamp. For a short second, he closed his eyes, then he ripped through the envelope and pulled out the thin typing paper. Across the top, and down at the bottom, were the words I see you, I see you, I see you, and you see me too."
