My youngest fan!

I have a very special young fan! On Jan 18, Krysti Crandall (age 4) attended my Unauthored Letters Book Celebration. There was a book exchange, similar to a white elephant gift exchange. Krysti obtained Unauthored Letters and started flipping through the pages (a priceless photo of my young reader). However just like there are losses in the "heartless" white elephant exchange, so was the case here. Unauthored Letters was taken from Krysti. My adorable fan was quite disappointed.

In April, her mom, Kelley Crandall attended The King's English Bookstore event and picked up Krysti's very own copy of Unauthored Letters. A few days later, Krysti came to visit and at last she got her autographed copy.

I was beyond thrilled to have such a young fan. But I wanted something that she could enjoy now. I was thrilled to dust off the one children's book I've written. The story is titled Gold and I wrote it in 2006 while living in Manti. I love that story, but have yet to publish it. Krysti now has a signed copy of that printed story - hopefully a much better read for my young reader.

Since then Krysti has been the inspiration for my next children's book. Once it's written who knows what might be next?
